Kolmannen päivän aamuna

Välillä on tuntunut, että Jumala on mennyt jonnekin. Silloin on muistunut mieleen jo edellä kirjoitettu Hebrealaiskirjeen jae 13:5:

"En minä sinua hylkää enkä sinua jätä."

Jostain syystä sen jälkeen ajatus on jatkunut sitkeästi toisella, edellisestä irrallisella, mutta silti siihen kiinteästi liittyvällä kysymyksellä: "Sanoisinko minä muuten, että menen valmistamaan teille sijaa?" Miten hyvä kysymys!

Odottamatta pääsiäisen riemu pukeutuu nuorten laulun muotoon [1].

Miksi hiivit hänen haudalleen? / Hän ei ole enää täällä / Etkö aamun huomaa valjenneen? / Hän ylösnoussut on!

Halleluja, tulkaa katsomaan / Hän ei ole enää täällä / Halleluja, soikoon maailmaan: / Hän ylösnoussut on!

Miksi jäisit vielä pimeyteen? / Hän ei ole enää täällä / Anna valon päästä sydämeen / Hän ylösnoussut on!

Halleluja, tulkaa katsomaan / Hän ei ole enää täällä / Halleluja, soikoon maailmaan: / Hän ylösnoussut on!

Miksi yhä kuljet allapäin? / Hän ei ole enää täällä / Nouse, veljillesi kerro näin: / Hän ylösnoussut on!

Aivan samastahan tässä on kysymys kuin Johanneksen kirjaamassa kohdassa 14:1-4 asuinsijoista [2]. Siellä Hän on, ja Hän tulee takaisin.

"Älköön teidän sydämenne olko murheellinen. Uskokaa Jumalaan, ja uskokaa minuun. Minun Isäni kodissa on monta asuinsijaa. Jos ei niin olisi, sanoisinko minä teille, että minä menen valmistamaan teille sijaa? Ja vaikka minä menen valmistamaan teille sijaa, tulen minä takaisin ja otan teidät tyköni, että tekin olisitte siellä, missä minä olen. Ja mihin minä menen - tien sinne te tiedätte."

 

Sometimes it has been like God had gone somewhere. Then I have been reminded about the passage in Hebrews (13:5) as already written [3]:

"I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

For some reason, this thought has then persistently been followed by another, separate, but still closely related question: "Would I otherwise tell you I go to prepare a place for you?" What a good question! Unexpectedly, the joy of Easter pops up in the form of a song for young people [1].

Why did you creep up to his grave?
He is no longer here
Don't you see the morning dawn?
He has resurrected!

Hallelujah, come and see with me
He is no longer here
Hallelujah, let the world know:
He has resurrected!

Why would you still stay in the dark?
He is no longer here
Let the light reach your heart
He has resurrected!

Why are you still going down?
He is no longer here
Get up and tell your brothers like this:
He has resurrected!

This tells exactly about the same as John 14:1-4 when he writes about the dwellings [4]. He is there, and He will come again. - P. P.

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."
